# Privacy Policy — Hallway Test

## 1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Keenethics OU ("HallwayTest", "we", "us", or
"our") handles personal data when you visit our website, book a pilot, or use
the HallwayTest beta service.

## 2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use HallwayTest, we may collect:

- Contact and account data, such as your name, email address, company
  information, and booking details.
- Test-submission data, such as the product URL, usability task, instructions,
  and dedicated test login credentials.
- Test-session data, including screen recordings, webcam video, voice/audio,
  transcripts, timestamps, interaction events, and tester observations.
- Website usage data collected through Microsoft Clarity, such as clicks,
  scrolling, mouse movements, page interactions, device/browser information,
  heatmaps, and session replay data.
- Advertising and conversion data collected through the Meta Pixel, such as page
  views and button clicks (for example, starting a booking), along with browser
  and device information.
- Product analytics data collected through PostHog, such as pages viewed,
  buttons and links clicked, referring source, approximate location derived from
  your IP address, and device/browser information, tied to a randomly generated
  visitor identifier.
- Communications and feedback you send to us.

## 3. How we use data

We use personal data to:

- provide and operate usability tests;
- give assigned in-house testers the access needed to complete a requested test;
- record, prepare, store, and deliver test results;
- schedule pilots and customer conversations;
- understand how visitors use the HallwayTest website and improve the experience;
- protect the service, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations;
- communicate with you about the beta service.

## 4. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal data as
necessary to provide the service or take steps at your request, for our
legitimate interests in operating and improving HallwayTest, with your consent
where required, or to comply with legal obligations.

## 5. Who we share data with

We may share relevant data with:

- our in-house testers and personnel who need it to perform or support the
  requested test;
- Jam, currently used during the beta for test-session capture and related test
  data;
- Calendly, when you use it to schedule a pilot or meeting;
- Microsoft Clarity, which we use for website behavior analytics, heatmaps, and
  session replay;
- Meta Platforms, Inc., through the Meta Pixel, which we use to measure ad
  performance and build advertising audiences;
- PostHog, Inc., which we use for product analytics to understand how visitors
  move through the site;
- legal or regulatory authorities when disclosure is required by law.

HallwayTest itself does not run LLM analysis on your test results. If you use
HallwayTest through MCP with Claude, Cursor, or another AI service, the test data
you request may be processed by the AI/LLM provider configured by you. That
processing is controlled by you and governed by the provider's own terms and
privacy practices.

## 6. Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website
through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. Clarity may use
cookies and similar technologies and may collect interaction, browser, device,
and page-rendering information. Where required by law, we use Clarity subject to
the appropriate consent signal.

## 7. Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our
advertising and understand actions taken on our website, such as page views and
starting a booking. The Meta Pixel may use cookies and similar technologies and
may collect browser, device, and page-interaction information, which Meta may
combine with other data it holds about you. See Meta's privacy policy for more
on how Meta uses this data.

## 8. PostHog

We use PostHog for product analytics: which pages visitors open, which buttons
and links they click, and how far they get through steps such as connecting the
MCP server or booking a test. PostHog uses cookies and similar technologies to
recognize a returning browser under a randomly generated identifier, and may
derive an approximate location from your IP address. We do not enable PostHog's
session replay. PostHog data is processed on PostHog's United States
infrastructure. Requests are routed through our own domain, which means PostHog
receives them from our servers rather than directly from your browser. Where
required by law, we load PostHog only after you consent. See PostHog's privacy
policy for more on how PostHog handles this data.

## 9. Data retention

Test outputs, including recordings, audio, transcripts, timestamps, and related
test-session data, are retained for up to 90 days after test completion and may
then be deleted or de-identified unless a longer period is required by law.

Contact, booking, communication, and operational records may be kept for as long
as reasonably necessary to operate the beta, respond to requests, resolve
issues, and comply with legal obligations.

## 10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect
personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.

## 11. International processing

HallwayTest and the service providers listed above may process data in countries
other than your own. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for
international transfers.

## 12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to,
correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and to object to or
restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is
based on consent.

To make a privacy request, contact privacy@hallwaytest.dev. We may need to
verify your identity before completing a request.

## 13. Children

HallwayTest is intended for business users and is not directed to people under
18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

## 14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the beta service, data flows, or legal
requirements change. The current version will be posted with an updated date.
