## What Hallway Test is

Hallway Test is an MCP server your coding agent can call directly. Point it at
whatever you just shipped and a real user tries it — no synthetic panels, no
other model guessing on your behalf.

A model can flag obvious issues, but it can't get confused, hesitate, or misread
a button the way a real user does. Hallway Test swaps that guess for a real user
going through your flow on camera.

## How it works

Your agent creates the test. A real user tries the product. The friction points
they hit come back to your agent to fix.

1. **Ask your agent to test a flow.** Describe it in a sentence, like "place an
   order as a guest and reach confirmation." No test script needed.
2. **We send it to a real user.** A real user from our in-house team picks up
   the test.
3. **The user tries it and thinks out loud.** Screen, webcam and voice are recorded.
4. **Recording, transcript and friction points come back to your agent.** With
   timestamps, delivered into your agent's context.
5. **Fix it. Test again with another real user.**
